Winter Time in Nelson County, VA
For those of you that don't know me personally, my in laws own a nice home away from home in Nelson County. They have had the land for some time and about 2 years ago decided to build a hunting cabin which then became practically a home with several bedrooms, bath, kitchen, etc. It's quite nice. Every few months a new addition occurs, a garage for "toys", a fire pit, etc. We are so lucky to have an awesome place to go play and relax. For New Year's Day we took a drive down to the "cabinet", that's what Zoe calls it. I took advantage of some time alone to take some photographs down there. I have never really had the chance to do this with the girls running around and needing constant supervision.
Christmas 2010
This Christmas was truly wonderful. We have so blessings it's hard to count. The girls, of course, got more toys then they could possibly play with! What's new?!? We had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg with my family then promptly came home Christmas Eve to prep for Santa's arrival and Christmas dinner with my husband's family.
My first photoshoot...
My very best friend in the whole wide world, Mary, agreed to humor me and take place in a practice photo shoot.
I learned a lot:
1. I take way too many pictures.
2. Because I take so many it's so hard to pick the best ones.
3. I need to schedule shoots for 1 hour ONLY.
4. I was really proud of my pictures. Check them out below.

When you click on Elizabeth's picture it will take you to the entire album.
